After a decorated career at the Basin Harbour Club, Chef Christian Kruse’s first restaurant is the nationally-acclaimed Vergennes Laundry. Founded in 2010, Vergennes Laundry has been featured in numerous national publications, attracting a loyal following from passersby to summer vacationers to area locals. “"My culinary experience has taken me across the country and back,” said Chef Christian, “It's now time for a new endeavor, my dream, to open my own restaurant. When I heard the Laundry was up for sale, I knew it was the perfect fit!”
In addition to its legendary breads, pastries, and coffee, Chef Christian will introduce a “Chef’s Table” dining experience, a classic brunch, wine-paired dinners, and much more.
